BOA’s JUDY SIMONS APPOINTED TO ANOC EVENTS WORKING GROUP
Hamilton, Bermuda—18 May 2015: The Bermuda Olympic Association (“BOA”) today announced that BOA President, Judy Simons, has been reappointed to the Association of National Olympic Committees’ (“ANOC”) Events Working Group for 2015.
The ANOC Events Working Group is one of nine Commissions and Working Groups introduced by ANOC under the leadership of Sheikh Ahmad Al-Fahad Al-Sabah. The Commissions and Working Groups seek to protect and advance the collective interests of the 205 National Olympic Committees (“NOCs”) that make up the Association, by ensuring that finding solutions to the most important issues facing the NOCs is kept at the very forefront of ANOC’s agenda.
The ANOC Events Working Group is focused on introducing, developing and managing sporting festivals and events recognising advancements and excellence in athletics and Olympism across the NOCs, such as the ANOC Gala Awards and the World Beach Games. The 2015 Working Group is chaired by Timothy Fok of Hong Kong, and has representatives from nine NOCs.

CARLOS LEE APPOINTED CHEF DE MISSION OF TEAM BERMUDA FOR THE 2015 PAN AM GAMES
Hamilton, Bermuda—22 April 2015: The Bermuda Olympic Association (“BOA”) today announced that Carlos Lee has been named Chef de Mission of the Bermuda team that will attend the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto Canada from 10 to 26 July.
Established in 1951, the Pan American (“Pan Am”) Games are the world’s third largest international multi-sport festival after the Olympics and Asian Games. The Pan Am and Parapan Am Games are held every four years. Athletes from the 41 member nations of the Pan American Sports Organisation (“PASO”) compete.
To date, Bermuda has qualified six athletes for competition in Toronto, in Equestrian, Gymnastics, Sailing, and Cycling. The BOA will officially name the full 2015 Bermuda Pan Am team in the coming weeks.
In his role as Chef de Mission, Mr. Lee will be the lead representative of Team Bermuda, supporting and mentoring the athletes and serving as spokesperson and liaison with Games officials and organisers.

REGION TO BENEFIT FROM EXCLUSIVE MULTI-PLATFORM STREAMING
Cable & Wireless Communications (CWC) has been named the official broadcast sponsor – and the exclusive telecoms partner – of the 2016 Rio Olympics for the Pan-Caribbean region by CANOC Broadcasting Inc. (CBI), a subsidiary of the Caribbean Association of National Olympic Committees. The organisation has secured the exclusive Olympic content rights to all platforms in 20 English-speaking countries, as well as non-exclusive rights in 10 non-English-speaking countries throughout the region.
In addition to the Olympic coverage, CWC which now operates both the LIME and Flow brands in a number of markets, will also provide its customers with a unique variety of live video feeds and data services offered across a number of media platforms including radio, TV, mobile, and internet streams. These live services will feature interviews, profiles and live-action footage of local Caribbean athletes as a result of this unique partnership.
