International Equestrian Federation (FEI) officials are pressing ahead with plans to reduce the size of teams competing at the Olympic Games to just three riders despite fierce opposition from many national federations, but it would open the door for countries such as Bermuda to get in.

In an insidethegames report, this issue dominated a four-hour panel discussion here today at the annual FEI Sports Forum, where 320 delegates discussed a range of issues also including a name change away from three day eventing.
