On June 23rd, 2018, the Bermuda Olympic Association joined the rest of the world in celebrating Olympic Day!

We had a full day of fantastic activities planned, starting at the National Sports Centre. The crowds were entertained by Under-8 and Under-11 cricket all-stars games, while the Bermuda Cricket Board offered the public the chance to participate in fun cricket activities.

Our Olympic Day celebrations continued at Clearwater Beach. The Bermuda Rowing Association and the St. George’s Dinghy & Sports Club were on-hand, leading participants in hands-on rowing and sailing experiences. In addition, the Bermuda Olympic Association hosted a 5K Fun Run/Walk.

After our 5K, the crowds watched the Clarien Bank Iron Kids races, features Bermuda’s up-and-coming triathletes.

It was a fantastic day of celebrating the Olympic ideals, through experiencing and supporting our local sports. Many thanks to all the participants, volunteers, and organisations that helped to make this day possible.
