Program Coordinator postion

The Bermuda Olympic Association is seeking a Program Coordinator to oversee its Olympic Solidarity (OS) and Pan American Sports Organization (PASO) programs. Under the general supervision of the Good Governance and Olympic Solidarity Committee (GGOSC) Chairman, the Program Coordinator will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution and control of the various programs while ensuring consistency with the strategy, goals and decisions established by the committee.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
• Efficiently and effectively lead and coordinate all programs
• Coordinate, track and report on the on-going operational aspects of the various programs as well as scope and budget
• Create an annual plan and schedule of programs to achieve stakeholder objectives
• Liaise with stakeholders to address issues as required and attend, participate and/or lead meetings relating to the various programs

• Coordinate internal and external relations as it relates to the programs
•  Establish and maintain positive relationships with the National Sport Governing Bodies (NSGBs) and develop and maintain an effective public relations      strategy to advise them on matters relating to OS and PASO programs
• Monitor the website/social media platforms to ensure objectives of the Association are met

• Coordinate all OS and PASO portfolios, processes and requirements
• Coordinate and disseminate information to all NSGBs and assist with their needs assessment and OS and PASO applications
• Other duties, as required

Education and/or Experience:
• Bachelor Degree in Sports Administration / Management or similar field
• A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a similar role.
• Familiarity with local NSGBs, the international sports environment and various international games programs
• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Project Management or similar designation is desirable
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
• Highly organized with the ability to multitask and work towards tight deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong sense of honesty, integrity and ethics
