Kai Legband competing in the Canadian National Trials Swim Meet has met the Standard for the Youth Olympic Games.

During the Men’s 100 LC Meter Freestyle Time Trial Legband would touch the wall in a time of 51.94 which saw him finish 2nd.

But it was the Men’s 50 LC Meter Freestyle Preliminaries, where he would make his Qualifying mark, he finished 21st stopping the clock in 23.55, which broke Jesse Washington’s Record time of 23.56 he set back on July 22nd, 2017 during the VI Commonwealth Youth Games.
