Shelley Pearson was crowned the FISA Americas Olympic Continental Qualification Regatta Women’s One Division Champion after winning the Women’s Final in Curauma, Chile.

Pearson finished first in the Final of the Women’s Single clocking a time of 7:42.0, which was two seconds faster then the second place finisher Fabiana Beltrameabiana from Brazil.

Pearson’s will now await a call from the Bermuda Olympic Association to confirm her spot at the 2016 Olympics.
