The Bermuda Men’s Rugby team continued talking part in the Central American and Caribbean Games at the High Performance Center.

Bermuda took on Mexico in their Quarter-Final match going down 27 – 7. Bermuda’s lone Try came when Andre Landy went over, Landy also added the Conversion.

The Bermuda team then went down 19 – 14 to Barbados in their 5-8 Placing Match in sudden-death overtime. The teams were locked at 14 – 14 at the end of regulation time Landy went over once in each half and he also kicked 2 Conversions. But it was Barbados who was able to score the Try that would see them compete for 5-6 place, while Bermuda will battle in the 7-8 place match.

Through injuries a depleted Bermuda team could not play the 7-8 place game against Costa Rica thus finishing the tournament in 8th place.
