Dear All, the Association has been discussing the issue of representation on behalf of Bermuda at various international festivals, in particular the Olympics, Pan Am Games, and related competitions, specifically regarding eligibility of “Belongers.” The BOA has been working through its legal counsel and relevant sport bodies to clarify the criteria and process for Belongers who wish to represent Bermuda internationally. Further guidance will be issued to National Sports Governing Bodies as decisions are finalised.
